Luke Bryan is beloved by country music fans for a myriad of reasons and being such an incredible stand-up father is one of them. While other high-profile music artists may live the high-life out in Los Angeles, Bryan is more than happy with his successful music career and his humble life outside of Nashville in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Luke Bryan married his college sweetheart, Caroline Boyer, and they have two sons, Thomas “Bo” Boyer Bryan, 9, and Tatum “Tate” Christopher Bryan, 7. Shortly before Luke had his first son, his sister died of unknown causes. This was the second sibling Bryan had lost after losing his brother in a car accident growing up. When his sister’s husband also later died from unknown causes as well in 2014, Bryan stepped up to the plate to help raise his youngest nephew Tilden “Til”, who’s now 13.
Even though the losses of his older siblings rocked his world, he’s grown a surprisingly positive outlook.
My only older siblings … gone from the world, in a flash in two, two different, crazy, tragic manners, that … we’ll never know, and never understand. You can lean on friends and family through it … and you can get back life. If me telling my story moves people down a positive path of hope and getting up out of the bed and getting back going, then, you know, it’s certainly worth telling.
Now with three boys to raise, he has to keep them entertained! What better way than to take them away from computer screens and their phones and teach them how to fish? That’s the ultimate fatherly duty: to teach your kids about the real world and spend as much time as possible with them.
We know Luke takes fatherhood seriously, as well as his love for fishing, and the adorable gallery below of him and his three boys fishing out on the boat is proof of what an excellent father he’s been.

“If I could make a nickel off a turning ’em bass…I’d be wheeling and dealing and sitting there reeling ’em in/ A huntin’, fishin’, and lovin’ every day/ That’s the prayer that a country boy prays…”
