When kids grow up with famous dads, it’s a given for them to have some sort of talent. Take Miley Cyrus – her dad is Billy Ray, whose breakthrough was “Achy Breaky Heart.” Miley was in the spotlight since she was a little girl before starring in Hannah Montana. Not only did she act, but she sang as well.
In the country industry, there are three generations of the Hank Williams name. Hank Williams, his son Hank Williams Jr., and his son Hank Williams III have all made their mark on country music.
Who could forget Waylon and Shooter Jennings? This father/son duo are stars of the country scene and even recorded an album together. Talk about keeping it in the family!
You might as well add Craig Campbell’s daughter, Preslee, to the list. Back in February, Craig and his seven-year-old daughter sang Meghan Trainor and John Legend’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You.” The video racked up over one million views, with Preslee singing just like dear ole dad.
Daddy’s Little Girl
Preslee is not stopping there. Back on July 4, Craig shared a video to his Facebook page of her singing the national anthem. Before he knew it, the video received thousands of views and likes from people all across the nation.
While most people thought this happened recently, it was actually a video from a performance in October 2014. Preslee was only 6-years-old at the time, and she was attending a homecoming football game at her dad’s alma mater, Toombs Co. High School in Lyons, Georgia. Make sure to watch the video in its entirety to see how she did.
Does Preslee have a future career in country music?
